Former Premier League Manager: Man City Still Strong Title Contenders, But They Need Support for Haaland

October 29 Report – Former Premier League manager Alan Pardew recently discussed his views on Manchester City's performances during an appearance on the *talkSPORT* program.  

Alan Pardew stated, "Manchester City's loss to Villa was an unexpected result. I'm not sure if City were affected by their midweek Champions League match, but this defeat was certainly a significant blow to them. When Mikel Arteta and Arsenal saw this result, they must have thought, 'Wow, this is a fantastic outcome for us.'"  

"You can't help but worry about City launching a title charge. Even though they lost to Aston Villa, I still firmly believe they are strong contenders for the title, truly. The only concern is whether they are overly reliant on Haaland. He is in excellent form, but he still needs support from his teammates."  

"In the past, Manchester City always had multiple players who could make crucial contributions to the team. But now, I'm not sure if there are enough players around Haaland to help the team win the title. They need others to step up and support Haaland. This City team has immense potential, but Pep Guardiola needs to ensure that potential is fully realized on the pitch."
