Real Madrid have a record of 13 wins, three draws and two defeats from their 18 La Liga matches this season, with 42 points leaving them in second spot in the table, four points behind the reigning champions Barcelona. Xabi Alonso's side ended 2025 with three straight wins, beating Alaves and Sevilla in Spain's top flight either side of a 3-2 success over CF Talavera in the Copa del Rey.
