Inter Milan Set to Hold March Renewal Talks with Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Offering 2+1 Contract

According to Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, Inter Milan are expected to open contract renewal talks with Hakan Çalhanoğlu in March and will offer a 2+1 deal.
Schira reports that Inter Milan and Çalhanoğlu’s agent are scheduled to meet in March to discuss the renewal. The club hopes to retain the Turkish international and is prepared to offer a contract extension running until 2028, with an option to extend it further until 2029. If the two sides fail to reach an agreement, several clubs from Europe and Saudi Arabia are monitoring the situation and could make a move in the transfer window.
Çalhanoğlu is currently 32 years old. So far, he has made 205 appearances for Inter, scoring 46 goals and providing 36 assists. His current contract with the club runs until 2027.
